Text 100 Boston Gets In the Game

Text 100 Boston recently held its first (hopefully) annual game night. Organized by our “fun committee,” Lucy, Ilena and Kate - we shut down our laptops for the night and headed to the big conference room to engage in some good, old fashioned, board game fun.

The game of choice? The “Logo” Game, which claims to “put your product knowledge to the test.” Perfect for a bunch of PR people, right? We were especially  excited to see some of our own clients represented in the game - including Xerox - and appropriately  knocked the socks off of those questions.

Some highlights? Ilena shockingly FAILING at correctly answering a question related to food (her favorite subject on the planet), and my own answer to a question on the leading manufacturer of jukeboxes and organs - Wurlitzer (shout out to my former piano teacher for having that brand in his studio ;)).

Ultimately, team Steph and Ken - a dangerous combination with their shared knowledge on tech and consumer brands - ended up as the reigning champions of the first Text 100 Boston game night (see the last photo in this post, which captures the victory) and earned bragging rights (until we convene for a rematch) for schooling us all.

And now, for your enjoyment: photos from game night! :) Enjoy!

Rachel reads a tough question to team Lisa and Lucy

After Ilena SHOCKINGLY answered a question about Taco Bell incorrectly, Virginia takes a closer look at the image - and correctly identified the item in question - the Gordita.

I’m not totally sure what was going on here - but it looks funny :)
